Papyrus & Pixel
Terms of Use & Sale
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These Terms apply when you use the Papyrus & Pixel website, personalise or purchase a card, create an account or otherwise use our services. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our service
Papyrus & Pixel provides personalised digital greeting cards and an online animated card-opening experience.
Our cards are digital products. No printed card or physical delivery is included unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Personalisation
Papyrus & Pixel cards include text personalisation. Some designs allow text to be personalised on both the front and back, while other designs have a fixed front and personalised text on the back.
Personalisation does not include replacing Papyrus & Pixel artwork with your own photographs, images or videos unless a particular product expressly provides that feature.
You are responsible for reviewing names, messages and other personalised text before completing your purchase.
3. One purchase, one recipient
A standard Papyrus & Pixel card purchase is licensed for use with one intended recipient.
A single purchased card must not be reused or redistributed as a card for multiple recipients, including by using generic wording such as "Dear team member" in order to send one purchased card to a group.
Multi-recipient, team, organisational or bulk use requires the appropriate number of card purchases or a separate bulk arrangement with Papyrus & Pixel.
4. Bundle and bulk purchases
Where available, customers purchasing two cards may use promo code bundle2 for 20% off.
Customers purchasing between three and ten cards may use promo code bundle for 25% off.
For more than ten recipients, please contact us at contact@papyrusandpixel.com to discuss an appropriate bulk or organisational arrangement.
Promotional offers may be changed, suspended or withdrawn for future purchases at any time. Any valid discount already applied to a completed purchase will not be affected.
5. Card delivery
After purchase, the buyer receives access to the finished digital card and its unique sharing link.
Papyrus & Pixel does not currently send cards directly to recipients. The purchaser chooses when and how to share the card link with the intended recipient.
6. Card availability
Purchased cards will remain available for at least 12 months from the date of purchase.
Cards may remain accessible for longer, but unless otherwise stated, Papyrus & Pixel guarantees access for a minimum of 12 months.
7. Changes after purchase
Please preview and review your card carefully before purchasing. Once a personalised card has been purchased, it is considered the finished version and changes are not normally included.
If you discover a serious personalisation error, such as an incorrect recipient name, contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to assist depending on the circumstances, but changes are not guaranteed and should not be expected immediately.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Because Papyrus & Pixel cards are personalised digital products, we do not generally provide refunds simply because you change your mind after purchase.
If there is a genuine technical failure, your purchase is not supplied as described, or another problem occurs that may entitle you to a remedy, please contact us.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Australian consumers retain their rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Intellectual property
Papyrus & Pixel artwork, illustrations, card designs, animations, branding, website content and other creative materials remain the intellectual property of Papyrus & Pixel or the relevant rights holder.
Purchasing a card does not transfer ownership of the artwork or other intellectual property to you.
Unless we give written permission, our artwork and designs must not be copied, extracted, reproduced, modified for reuse, resold, redistributed or used commercially.
10. Unauthorised use
We may restrict access to a card or service where we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these Terms, including unauthorised multi-recipient distribution, commercial use, reproduction or resale.
Papyrus & Pixel reserves its rights in relation to unauthorised use of its services, artwork and intellectual property.
11. Your content
You are responsible for the text and information you enter into a personalised card.
You must not use Papyrus & Pixel to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights or is intended to misuse or interfere with our services.
12. Accounts and card links
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your account credentials, order information and purchased card links.
If you believe your account, order or card link has been accessed or used improperly, please contact us.
13. Service availability
We aim to keep Papyrus & Pixel available and reliable, but online services can occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical faults, third-party service outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a problem materially affects a purchased card, please contact us so we can investigate.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Papyrus & Pixel, our products, technology or legal obligations change.
The current version will be published on this page together with its last-updated date.
